For those among us who are still wondering what’s at stake in this election, I have some quotes to share with you that may help bring some clarity to your thinking.
It has been crystal clear for some time now that President Obama is a socialist ideologue. His advisors, his financial backers, and his policies all reveal his intentions for this nation. He is corrupting our democracy to change our nation from a Democratic Republic based on capitalism to a Socialist State.
His ”concern” for college students, African Americans, middle income earners, the unemployed, the underemployed, the weak, the needy, the immigrants, the unions, and the government workers, is actually a concern for votes.
If you think those votes will usher in a utopian socialist system, read on. The following quote sounds like the reasoning behind the Occupy Wall Street movement. (I’m guessing most of the protestors don’t know whose steps they are following as they turn against the most prosperous economic system in the world and clamor for the “fairness and equality” of serfdom.)
“We are socialists, we are enemies of today’s capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance, and we are all determined to destroy this system under all conditions.”

With the twisted and deceptive argument above, Hitler took a capitalistic, democratic nation with the motto, Gott Mit Uns (God With Us), and changed it into a Totalitarian Socialist State. And, please remember, he didn’t end up supporting the weak, he eliminated them. But, to Germany, he brought change!
I’d like to offer some quotes, for you to ponder, from The Politically Incorrect Guide to Western Civilization by Anthony Esolen.

We need true patriots in office today. Men and women who will work for the good of the country like our Founding Fathers did. Leaders who understand they are accountable to God for the outcomes of the political decisions they make.
We can’t turn the clock back, but we can get ourselves back on the right track by putting our trust back in God and electing godly leaders. We must resolve to restore the ancient landmarks that set boundaries for our families and our country based on faith in God.
As Bob Dylan’s song, Gotta Serve Somebody, said,

Our country is in a mess. We need God’s help! I agree with King David of ancient Israel when he said, ”I am in deep distress. Let me fall into the hands of the LORD, for his mercy is very great; but do not let me fall into the hands of men.” 1 Chron 21:13
So let me ask you,
“Do you wanna serve an Omnipotent God
or an Omnipotent State?”
